I know February is short a few days, but man! It went by quick this time!

Just as I suspected, February was so lovely and full of love! My aunt came to visit, my valentine came to visit, my old roommate came to visit, and I got a hand-made valentine from my mom in the mail! We had some of our first days in the 40s in NYC, but we did also have a massive blizzard— you win some, you lose some. I am really getting excited for spring. As awful as winter has been, I am actually really grateful or the perspective it has brought me. Living in Alabama my whole life, yes I appreciated spring, but winter never really got that cold. Now that I know what 3º feels like on my face, I think I am going to appreciate 60º in a new way.

I have a quick weekend trip home to AL scheduled for March and I am so excited to reward myself with a taste of Southern Spring. I am excited to go on sweaty walks, smell the new blooms, and hug some of my sweet friends!
